About this trip

What if adventure could deepen your faith, expand your perspective, and create lasting Kingdom impact long after you return home?

Join Endure Adventures for an unforgettable 8-day expedition through the breathtaking Andes of Peru. From Cusco and the Sacred Valley to Rainbow Mountain and Ausangate, this journey combines high-altitude adventure, authentic cultural immersion, and Christ-centered purpose.

Explore ancient Inca landscapes, ride epic mountain bike trails, hike remote Andean routes, camp beneath star-filled skies, and experience the beauty of Peru alongside local guides and families who call this region home.

At the heart of this expedition is a community-first impact project supporting Florencio and his family as they develop a sustainable homestay experience near Rainbow Mountain. Together, we'll invest in a local vision that creates opportunity, strengthens the community economy, and allows travelers to experience Peru through meaningful relationships.

This is more than a vacation—it’s an expedition designed to challenge you physically, grow you spiritually, and remind you that adventure can be a powerful way to serve God’s Kingdom.

Adventure Highlights

  • Explore Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Rainbow Mountain, and Ausangate

  • Choose from MTB, hiking, horseback riding, moto, and via ferrata adventures

  • Camp overnight in the high Andes beneath incredible star-filled skies

  • Experience authentic Peruvian culture through local guides, families, and communities

  • Partner with a local family through a sustainable homestay development project

  • Support community-first impact by investing in local labor, materials, and economic opportunity

Our Impact Project Philosophy

At Endure Adventures and Go Beyond Adventure, we believe transformation happens when we serve with communities—not for them.

Every impact project is built on a community-first philosophy, prioritizing local leadership, local labor, and locally sourced materials. Your travel investment helps create jobs, strengthen small businesses, and empower communities long before you arrive.

As you step into the current phase of the project, you'll work alongside local builders and families, encouraging and supporting the vision they are already bringing to life. This isn't about being someone's rescuer—it's about becoming their partner.

Together, we'll experience the joy of building something that creates lasting impact, not only through the structure itself, but by investing in the people, relationships, and local economy that will sustain it for years to come.

This Trip Is For You If...

  • You want adventure that strengthens your faith and expands your perspective

  • You believe travel can create meaningful Kingdom impact

  • You love exploring remote places, challenging yourself, and stepping outside your comfort zone

  • You value authentic cultural experiences over traditional tourism

  • You want to serve through partnership, not simply provide assistance

  • You’re looking for a transformational experience that challenges you physically, spiritually, and personally

You do not need to be an elite athlete to enjoy this expedition. You just need an open heart, a willingness to grow, and a desire to experience how God is working through people and communities around the world.

TRAVEL | ARRIVAL LAKE TITICACA

Morning | Arrive in Juliaca & Transfer to Llachón

Arrive in Juliaca and meet your Endure Adventures guide, who will be waiting to welcome you to Peru and begin your journey into the Andes. From the airport, travel approximately 1.5 hours through the high-altitude landscape to the remote lakeside community of Llachón on the Capachica Peninsula.

Leave the tourist hub of Puno behind as you make your way into the heart of local Andean life, where you'll stay with a local family in a traditional homestay overlooking Lake Titicaca.

Afternoon | Settle Into Llachón

After arriving at your homestay, enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by your host family before taking time to settle in and adjust to the altitude.

The afternoon is intentionally unstructured. Walk the trails surrounding the community, explore the agricultural terraces, meet your hosts, or simply slow down and take in the views of Lake Titicaca. This is your first opportunity to experience the Andes without a schedule—just space to breathe, explore, and settle into the rhythm of the community.

Evening | Lake Titicaca Sunset

As the afternoon fades, walk to one of Llachón's scenic viewpoints to watch the sun set over Lake Titicaca and the surrounding Andes.

Return to your homestay for a traditional Peruvian dinner with your host family. Spend the evening sharing stories, gathering around the fire, or simply taking in the incredible night sky before settling into your first night in the Andes.

LAKE TITICACA EXPEDITION

Morning | Lake Titicaca by Private Speedboat

After breakfast, board a private speedboat and head out onto Lake Titicaca. Your first stop is the famous Uros Floating Islands, where you'll spend a short time learning how the islands are constructed from totora reeds and hearing from local community members about life on the lake.

After your visit, leave the traditional tourist route behind and continue by speedboat toward the quieter communities of the Capachica Peninsula.

Late Morning | Explore Lake Titicaca

Continue your journey along the lake before arriving back near Llachón and the surrounding community. Trade the boat for kayaks and get out onto the water for a guided paddle along the shoreline.

Explore quiet coves, take in views of the surrounding mountains, and experience the scale of Lake Titicaca from the water rather than from a crowded tour boat.

Afternoon | Hike the Llachón Peninsula

After returning to shore, enjoy a traditional Andean lunch prepared by local hosts before setting out on foot to explore the Llachón Peninsula.

Follow local trails through agricultural terraces and rural communities as you climb toward panoramic viewpoints overlooking Lake Titicaca. Along the way, learn about the agricultural traditions, history, and daily life of the people who call this peninsula home.

For those interested in a deeper cultural experience, spend time with local families learning about traditional weaving, fishing, or seasonal agricultural practices.

Evening | Life on the Lake

Return to your homestay as the sun begins to set. Enjoy another traditional dinner with your host family and take time to experience the community at a slower pace.

Gather around the fire, share stories with your hosts, and watch the stars emerge over Lake Titicaca before settling in for your second night in Llachón.

Overnight | Llachón Homestay

Tomorrow, we'll leave the shores of Lake Titicaca behind and travel deeper into the Andes flying to Cusco to meet up with the rest of the group.
